Barbara Tarr[4] (born November 12),[1] credited as Babs Tarr professionally, is an American comic book artist.[3] For Star Wars, Tarr illustrated a Pride Month variant cover of the first issue of the Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters comic-book miniseries.[5] She[2] was first announced as a variant cover artist for the issue on March 18, 2021,[6] while the completed artwork—featuring the archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra—was revealed on StarWars.com on May 7 of the same year.[5] The comic was written by Ethan Sacks and released by Marvel Comics on June 2, 2021.[7] As fanart, she has drawn[8] the Resistance leaders[9] Poe Dameron and Finn, indicating that she felt both "beloved starboys" deserved better fates.[8]
