Baarstal was an astronomical object[2] that was located within the Baarstal system[4] in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] At some point shortly before the fall of the Galactic Republic, a small incident occurred near Baarstal. Onboard the star ship of a certain woman, an M38 droid went haywire and began damaging the vessel. Before she realized what was happening, the droid had wrecked the engines and several other systems before leaving the ship and disappearing into the jungle. Later, a trader near Naboo picked up a distress signal from Baarstal.[2]
