The B8G labor droid was a model of bipedal labor droid[1] with a large gas-burning exhaust vent in its torso. The model had a head with two black sensors, one larger than the other, and an antenna that protruded from its back. The droids could have tan plating. B8G-H0R was a B8G labor droid who worked as a slave in the criminal Pyke Syndicate's spice mines of the planet Kessel.[2] In 10 BBY,[3] it took part in a slave uprising in the mines led by the droid L3-37.[4]
Behind the scenes
A B8G labor droid first appeared in the 2018 Anthology film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. The droid was not named in the film,[4] but was identified in the video "Every Droid in Star Wars", which was posted on StarWarsKids.com in 2019.[1]
