B-R72[4] was a heavy loader droid[2] manufactured by JLD Mechanicals Consortium[1] with yellow and red plating. The droid belonged to the Droid Depot in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. During the occupation of Batuu by the First Order[2] in 34 ABY,[5] B-R72 was stood on display outside the depot, placed on a plinth beside several other droids behind a railing.[2] The loader droid stood 1.75 meters tall.[3]

Behind the scenes

B-R72 first appeared as a prop within the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[2] which opened to guests at Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019.[6]
