Avus Dayne was a male pilot living during the Galactic War. At some point after the Battle of Asylum he traveled to Odessen and joined the Alliance that opposed the Eternal Empire of Zakuul. Following the raid on the Gilded Star the young Twi'lek Vette joined the Alliance and Dayne instantly fell in love with her. After watching her from afar, he eventually composed a poem for her,[1] but accidentially sent it to the Alliance Commander instead.[2]
