Avenger of Jakku was a pseudonym used by a collector of Imperial artifacts following the fall of the Galactic Empire.[1] By 28 ABY,[2] fellow Imperial artifact enthusiast Senator Ransolm Casterfo had encountered Avenger of Jakku, but considered the collector's moniker ridiculous despite suspecting that it was probably only role-play of a part the collector might play in a reenactment.[1]

Behind the scenes

Avenger of Jakku was first mentioned in the novel Bloodline, which was written by Claudia Gray and released in 2016.

  2. TwitterLogo Del Rey (@DelReyStarWars) on Twitter (post): "So excited to have @claudiagray writing a #StarWars novel with us. SW: New Republic: Bloodline coming 2016. Set 6 years before TFA." (screenshot) establishes that the events of Bloodline take place six years before the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the events of The Force Awakens to 34 ABY, so Bloodline must take place in 28 ABY.
