Autopursuit was a feature equipped on certain starfighters, allowing such a vessel to pursue and fire upon targets without any further input from its pilot.[1]
In approximately 40 BBY,[2] Obi-Wan Kenobi took control of the Facet while engaged in operations aboard the Leverage as part of his and his master's Mission to Pijal. On the vessel, he accidentally engaged this feature, resulting in a wild chase that eventually ended with it crashing into the ship's bridge. The experience deeply troubled Kenobi[1] and resulted in a dislike of flying such vessels which would last until at least the end of the Clone Wars.[3]
