Attack on the Third Imperial Assault Fleet

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

During the Great Galactic War between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, a traitor betrayed the Third Imperial Assault Fleet, leading to an ambush by the Republic Navy that wiped out most of the Imperial fleet. Over twenty thousand Imperial lives were lost, along with more than eighty percent of the ships in the fleet.
