The attack on Garn, also known as the doom of the Ordu Aspectu, was a battle that took place many years before the Battle of Yavin[4] when droids controlled by Eternal Rur attacked[1] members of the Jedi Order and a Jedi splinter group known as the Ordu Aspectu.[4] Upon the arrival of Jedi inspectors to the Citadel of Rur, Eternal Rur seized control of the facility's droids and began to kill the citadel's inhabitants. Seeking to contain Eternal Rur, the mortal Rur jumped the citadel through hyperspace and managed to deactivate Eternal Rur at the cost of his own life.[1]
