―Haru and Asu — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[2]

At least two individuals were the parents of the Force-sensitive human male Asu, who lived in Meevai Village on the planet[2] Keelia.[3] At some point, both individuals died.[2] Between 19 BBY and 1 BBY,[1] Asu carried[2] his[4] bride, Haru, on a bridal chair to a sacred location to perform a purification ceremony before their wedding. On the way, Haru said that she wished her own parents could have been there. Asu told her that he had no doubt that they were watching and that they were one with the planet. Haru agreed, and replied that Asu's parents also were.[2]

Behind the scenes

Asu's parents were mentioned in "The Village Bride," an animated short film in the non-canon Star Wars: Visions series produced by Kinema Citrus Co. and released on Disney+[2] on September 22, 2021.[5]
