An asteroid tug was a type of tug widely used for transporting ore in the Chiloon Rift[1] in Wild Space.[2] During the era of the Galactic Alliance, the asteroid tug Joyous Roamer was among the oldest and most profitable tugs operating in the Rift. As of 45 ABY, the tug had been in the family of its owner, Captain Omad Kaeg, for more than two centuries.[1]
