An asteroid squall was a kind of astrogeographical accident that was supposed to be charted, but not always was.

Captain Mirchidi NeMall's ship, NeHimmep, once crashed with an asteroid squall. The ship was severely damaged and her rinzefruit cargo was lost; NeMall's insurance covered only the ship's repairs.
