Assembler was a droid that joined the Directive 7 movement headed by Mentor during the era of the Galactic War. Adopting a new name of its own choosing, Assembler was among the droids that gathered on the moon Zadd under Mentor's leadership, and was one of the few droids who were not absorbed into Mentor's consciousness. However, Assembler was destroyed while trying to protect Mentor's core from invaders.[2]
