In 5 ABY,[2] New Republic Senator Tolwar Wartol attempted to have Chancellor Mon Mothma assassinated on the planet Chandrila. The attempt failed however as Mothma had left the Chandrila Senate house to buy a baby gift for Leia Organa.[1]
