Arnold "Arnie" Jackson was a prop builder who worked at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios in Borehamwood in the 1940s. By the time the original Star Wars movie was being produced, Jackson was retired. Nevertheless, he assisted John Mollo with many costume accessories for the movie. He notably made two belts worn by Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia Organa, one for her diplomatic gown and the other for her ceremonial attire.
