The Arms Market was a market located in[2] Wormtown,[1] on the moon Nar Shaddaa.[2] In 3 ABY,[3] the bounty hunters Valance and Dengar went to the market, since Dengar assured that Devono Vix, an arms dealer, could tell them why Jabba the Hutt put a bounty on his former favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett's head. After meeting with Vix and his friends, Valance decided to neglect the delicacy recommended by Dengar and punched the arms smuggler. After a fight between the two bounty hunters and Vix's friends, Valance used his cybernetic enhanced arm to cause an explosion killing several opponents. Understanding that he had no other chance, Vix tried to run away, chased by Valance and Dengar.[2]
Vix, however, was able to escape after Valance was intercepted by the Wookiee Chewbacca, who was on Nar Shaddaa with his fellow protocol droid C-3PO in search of Boba Fett and therefore Han Solo, who they thought was with him.[2]
