The armored half-vest was an armored vest produced by Koromondain and sold for 500 credits. The vest was designed to protect the wearer from ambushes, and was known to its critics as "bounty hunter insurance." Although the armor's durability decreased as it absorbed damage, its low cost meant that is was used regularly by bounty hunters, paramilitary organizations, and security forces.[1]
