The Argazdan battle fleet was a fleet established by Myrial, the leader of the Vianist religious sect Myrialites. The Argazdan separatist leader formed the fleet to help protect the Argazdan Redoubt—claimed territory in the Kanz sector—after she declared the secession from the Galactic Republic. The first target of the battle fleet was the planet Ereesus, where Myrial ordered the starships to scorch the world and eliminate all life there, retaliation for the Ereesi species' enslavement of the Argazdans before the war that ended the Argazdans' servitude. The massacre on Ereesus marked the beginning of the Kanz Disorders.[1]
