Ares Jansen was a male Human officer of the Galactic Republic living during the Galactic War. Around 3641 BBY he was on Belsavis, when a centuries-old lethal plague was released during the Invasion of Belsavis and infected escaped Gen'Dai, making them the perfect carries for the disease. Doctor Brenna Fash asked a Republic operative to cure the Gen'Dai while officer Jansen advised simply killing them instead.[1]
