The Aplocaph were a sentient species preoccupied with finding love. Members of the species treated exotic locations and leisure time as an opportunity to find someone special. For this reason, during the time of the Galactic Civil War, the young Aplocaph Saduu Nagag took a cruise aboard the giant luxury liner Kuari Princess up the Relgim Run hyperlane. Almost hourly,[1] Nagag cleaned his skin until it gleamed to ensure he was well groomed should he meet his "one, crucial" being[2] with whom to fall in love.[1] Nagag was present on the Princess when it was boarded by pirates within the Maelstrom nebula.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Aplocaph first appeared in Riders of the Maelstrom, a 1989 roleplaying game adventure written by Ray Winninger and released by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
