After they were exiled from their prior home and forced into hiding to avoid persecution,[1] the witches of Mother Aniseya's coven made their way to[2] the mysterious planet[3] Brendok, where they annexed an ancient fortress once used in a mining operation. Creating their home in the Brendok fortress and living in peace far from the Core Worlds,[2] the coven eventually tried to perform the Rite of Ascension[1] in 148 BBY[4] for the first time since their exile, only for a team of Jedi to reveal themselves.[1]
