An animal trainer was an individual who trained non-sentient creatures. Dams Denna, a resident of Naboo during the Invasion of Naboo, was an animal trainer. "Fingers" was the nick-name attributed to a female Zabrak animal herder. She specialized in training Borgle bats for arena pit-fighting competition. She hunted the dangerous creatures in their native jungle environment on the Naboo moon of Rori. On one occasion, a Borgle bat bit off two of the fingers on her right hand, earning the Zabrak the uncomplimentary nickname, Fingers.
