Anic was a terrestrial celestial body[3] located in the Anic system, a part of the Xan sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] At some point not long before[3] a point in 2 ABY,[4] the mine survival instructor and Rebel Alliance member Larq Thur perished as part of the Lijarak Mines Incident that took place on Anic.[3]
Behind the scenes
Anic was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas subsequently placed the Anic system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square Q-15.[2]
