An aneurysm was a circulatory condition that humans could experience. An aneurysm is an outward bulging on the wall of a blood vessel. If the aneurysm ruptured, it could lead to uncontrolled bleeding. They could happen anywhere in the human body but were potentially fatal if they happened around the heart or brain.[source?]

This particularly upset his sister Jaina, leading her to tell Luke that Jacen was a stranger to her now, and she had to say it or she would have an aneurysm trying to keep from punching him out the next time she saw him.[1]
