The Ancient lair, or Ancient Creature's Lair was a cave used by a Krayt dragon.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the dragon had abandoned it leaving behind a large cave system. Which had been taken over by a bandit gang.[1] During 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess raided the cave to retrieve a krayt dragon pearl that was stolen by the bandits from a clan of Tuskens. Vess returned the pearl to the clan in exchange for them releasing the Sullustan gunslinger Hoss, who Vess wished to recruit for a job.[1]
Behind the scenes
Ancient lair appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was featured in the main quest "The Heavy".[1]
