Amyva Va'new was an female Ithorian cook, who lived in Nashal on the planet Talus during the time of the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

In about 1 ABY, a spacer approached Va'new on the advice of the Human Hunde Decan, to try and find out how to repair a Corellian Fried Ice Cream Fryer. Va'new told the spacer to that Mikfa Faaus, a Gungan who lived on Naboo, might be able to give them more information about the fryer.

Amyva Va'new was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,^[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.^[2] Amyva Va'new was added to the game along with the "Portable Deep Fryer" collection introduced with the "Chapter 9,"^[3] published on April 3, 2008.^[4]

Amyva Va'new was part of the quest line "Find out more about the Cooker" (and the interconnected Collection Portable Deep Fryer) that started when the player inspects a broken ice cream fryer. The player then had to talk to several NPCs on different planets to gather more information about the fryer. When he finished the quest, the player was rewarded with a schematic for a Corellian Fried Ice Cream Fryer.
