Ammonium nitrate was the nitrate of ammonia, and could be used both as a fertilizer and an explosive. The Jedi-turned-farmer Jelph Marrian used this compound to booby-trap his starfighter on Kesh, resulting in the deaths of Grand Lord Lillia Venn, her guards and the Sith Lords Sawj and Flen Luzo.
