The Almera system was located within the Inner Rim.[1] It shared its name with the Pact of Almera, an 899 BBY treaty that recognized the independence of the world Thyrsus from the planetary confederation known as the Echani Command.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Almera system was first mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which placed the system in grid square M-8.[1]
