Alk'Lellish III

Alk'Lellish III was a planet in the Alk'Lellish system of the Sumitra sector. It was the homeworld of the Lellish, as well as the dangerous carnivore known as the ketrann. Wilek Nereus hunted the ketrann at one point.

History

Remaining loyal to the Republic for the next several millennia, the world established itself economically by advertising the vast expanses of jungle as prime hunting grounds for galactic citizens.^[1] After the death of King Alaric the whole sector including this planet, left the Republic and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

With the establishment of the Galactic Empire, the citizens of Alk'Lellish gave a share of their profits to the local Moff in exchange for the right to limit the number of hunters permitted to kill full-grown ketrann each season. The Imperial Wilek Nereus eventually attained the position of governor of Bakura, continuing to be paid off by the Lellish.^[1]
