Algunnis was a binary star located within the Trax sector of the Mid Rim.
Description
Algunnis was a binary star in the Algunnis system,[3] located within the Mid Rim's[1] Trax sector. The star system had no planets, but boasted a large asteroid belt, which orbited the two suns.[3]
History
Imperial scientists theorized that when the galaxy was forming, Algunnis traveled past several star systems and captured planets. The extreme gravitational stresses reduced the planets to rubble, forming a massive asteroid field. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the belt was devoid of settlements, but was home to space slugs.[3]
