Alema Rar's third lightsaber was a single-bladed lightsaber constructed by ex-Jedi Alema Rar after her second lightsaber was confiscated by Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker on the Moon of Kr.
History
Alema Rar's third lightsaber was constructed at some point in 36 ABY[4] after her previous lightsaber was taken from her a year prior by Luke Skywalker on the Moon of Kr at the beginning of the Swarm War.[5] With her lightsaber constructed, Alema brandished the new weapon against Luke Skywalker on the planet Woteba, yet much like her second lightsaber, Luke disarmed Alema of her blade. When Alema demanded he return it, Luke did so, but only after using the Force to destroy the silver Adegan crystal powering the weapon, making it effectively useless. Taking the still-intact hilt of the lightsaber, Alema was able to resurrect her weapon using a dark blue Adegan crystal; she used this now blue-bladed weapon to duel Luke's sister, Leia Organa Solo, aboard the Victory-class Star Destroyer, Admiral Ackbar, and continued to use the weapon throughout the Swarm War.[1]
Alema Rar was still using this particular lightsaber by 40 ABY when she was approached by the would-be Sith Lord Lumiya to join her new order. Working alongside Lumiya, Alema used her lightsaber to slay the Chev Jedi Master, Tresina Lobi, on Coruscant. Alema's last major usage of this lightsaber was at the Roqoo Depot where she and Lumiya fought in tandem against Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade Skywalker. In a twist of fate which mirrored that of her second lightsaber, Alema was ultimately defeated by Mara Jade and her third lightsaber was confiscated by the Jedi.[2]
