Alec Ranin was a Duros male who worked as a news reporter within the Galactic Republic for a Republic News Network based out of Carrick Station. In the year 3627 BBY,[2] he contacted the Alliance Commander and interviewed them on his show.[1]
Behind the scenes
Alec Ranin appears during the quest "Hearts and Minds" for Republic Players, where he requests an interview with the player after their decision to align the Eternal Alliance with the Republic. The player can give a number of answers to his questions during the interview, where they can either speak enthusiastically or negatively about the Republic and their chances of defeating the Sith Empire and the recently returned Darth Malgus.[1]
