The Alderath system was located in the Alderath sector,[1] a part of the New Territories portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It was situated on the Celanon Spur hyperlane, which linked it to the Korvaii system of the Kordu sector and the Orocco system of the Ottega sector. Another hyperspace route connected the system to the Ylix system of the M'shinni sector.[3] The Alderath system shared its name with the organization known as the Alderath Horticultural Society,[4] and between 12 ABY and 13 ABY, it fell within the borders of the New Republic.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Alderath system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square L-7.[2]
