A Chiss female was the former caregiver of sky-walker navigator Al'iastov. At some point they told Al'iastov not to complain about her feelings.[1] Around 39 BBY,[2] on Al'iastov's final voyage as a sky-walker on the Chiss Defense Force Transport Tomra, she met Cadet Mitth'raw'nuru, core name "Thrawn," who saw her in a state of distress and asked if she was alright. Al'iastov, remembering her former caregiver, told the cadet she was fine.[1]
Behind the scenes
This caregiver was mentioned in flashbacks of the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, written by Timothy Zahn as the first entry in his Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
