This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

"Most sought-after theatrical leading man in the Akeno sector, you know, but he has abjectly refused, point blank, to have anything to do with a holoperformance!"
―The Traveler, to a woman[1]

The Akeno sector was a sector of the galaxy. During a mission to the Outer Rim planet Dekien, the former Sith known as the Ronin disguised himself as an artiste while onboard a pleasure barge. The Ronin's companion, the Traveler, claimed to a woman on the barge that the Ronin was actually the Akeno sector's most sought after theatrical leading man.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Akeno sector was mentioned in the 2021 non-canon novel Ronin: A Visions Novel, written by Emma Mieko Candon.[1] Like all names in the novel, the Akeno sector's name uses phonemes found in the Japanese language.[2]
