Ahlenn was a planet in the Ahlenn system. During the Galactic Civil War, a prolonged conflict between Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire, the Imperial Admiral Kohrin's second fleet bombarded the planet thinking that it was home to an active Rebel base, in retaliation for Luke Skywalker's attack on the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Enforcer at the nearby planet of Bespin. The base was in fact empty, abandoned two months previously.[3]

Behind the scenes

Ahlenn was introduced in the 1989 roleplaying adventure "Starfighters Down," written by William W. Connors and published within the magazine Challenge 38. As the adventure was released outside of the Lucas Licensing process,[3] it is considered non-canonical with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[4]
