Agao-Nir was a mining village on Bassadro located in a dormant volcano range. During the Clone Wars, in the Battle of Bassadro, Jedi Knight Empatojayos Brand besieged the range to eliminate the Confederacy of Independent Systems forces within it. Brand ordered concussion missile strikes against the rock formations near the village, removing the Separatists' cover and creating a storm of shrapnel that sliced through Agao-Nir, destroying many of the battle droids stationed there,[1][2] as well as four hundred unaffiliated miners.[3]
