The Aethersprite was a body configuration equipped by the droid Hunter J-3DI that he could don for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to his standard configuration. It was designed in a way that was meant to invoke the aesthetics of the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptors used by members of the Jedi Order shortly before its collapse.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Aethersprite was an "Epic" rarity "Costume" for the Hunter J-3DI, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Aethersprite Saber Design.^[1]
