"Trap family of Ack-platts. Eat them. Regurgitate baby Ack-platt. Play with him like a yo-yo. Re-eat him."
Unidentified sentient creature's diary[1]

Ack-platts were creatures who lived in familial groups. A creature once wrote in its diary the wish to trap and eat a family of Ack-platts, regurgitate and play with a baby Ack-platt and then eat him again.[1]

Behind the scenes

Ack-platts were mentioned in Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a book published in 1993.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical.[2]
