The Aakeron (Japanese: アーケロン) was a flying creature native to the Mountains of Kessel.[2]

Behind the scenes

These creatures first appeared in the 1987 Japanese Star Wars video game for the Famicom home console.[1] Their name was revealed in the Japanese language guide of the game serialized in Family Computer Magazine, in which it was rendered as アーケロン (Aakeron) in katakana syllabary.[2]
