The ARX-T3 Suncutter light interceptor was a starfighter manufactured by Koensayr Manufacturing.[1]
Characteristics
Mounting considerable armament for an interceptor, the Suncutter boasted exceptional speed and mobility due to an in-line ion turbine engine; combined with heavier armor than most interceptors, the Suncutter was an ideal dogfighter, and often had the edge in stand-up fights.[1]
History
A departure from Koensayr Manufacturings better known Y-wing, the Suncutter focused on a unique balance of defense, agility, and armament over armor or playload as with previous craft. Produced in the early days of the Galactic Empire, its number became limited when Koensayr lost its contract.[1]
