The AP-3 attack droid (Assault Platform-3), also known as an AP-3 was a battle droid used by the Imperial Remnant. The AP-3 resembled an astromech droid, but it was armed with six missile launchers and micro-proton torpedoes. It also possessed a repulsorlift drive that enabled it to move quicker across the battlefield at the order of an AP-1-C.[1]
The attack droid saw combat during the Battle of Cadinth.[1]
Behind the scenes
The "Imperial Attack Droid C" model was designed for the abandoned The Epic Continues story line. The prototype model was made by kitbashing figures of FX-7 and a Power droid.[2] It later appeared in the Legends continuity where it was officially named the AP-3 attack droid.[1]
