AC-08 was an automated tour guide droid that was employed on the planet Taris prior to the destruction of Taris. It was later recovered from Taris's ruins around the time when the Eternal Empire of Zakuul controlled the galaxy.

Behind the scenes

AC-08 first appeared in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire, a 2015 Digital Expansion to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, where the droid is a Companion Gift.
