The 700-Penetrator was a military grade[2] laser cannon[1] developed around the time of Emperor Palpatine's return. The smuggler Lo Khan[2] installed a pair of 700-Penetrators on his Xiytiar-class transport Hyperspace Marauder after years of flying his ship without armaments.[1] The weapons were purchased from Hutt gunrunners.[2]
