The 5709-DC Shipping Lane was a hyperspace route in the Arkanis sector. The route was a spur of the larger Triellus Trade Route that connected the route with the planet Tatooine. In 137 ABY, the 5709-DC Shipping Lane was the location of an act of piracy committed by members of the Black Sun crime syndicate, led by Captain Dovrin, against an Imperial shipping vessel of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.[1]
