The 43rd Salagori Lancers was a unit of the military of the Galactic Empire that was active during the Galactic Civil War[1] and shared its name with the Inner Rim's Salagor system.[2] The notable unit repeatedly distinguished itself while carrying out special operations.[1]

The 43rd Salagori Lancers was mentioned in the 1995 sourcebook Heroes & Rogues, authored by Rick Stuart and Paul Sudlow and published for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The book gives the unit as an example of a special operations unit that player characters in a Galactic Empire military campaign can be assigned to based on their record of renowned deeds, noting that serving with the 43rd Salagori Lancers would lead to the characters experiencing a lot of action.[1]
