The 3rd TIE Wing was a fighter wing of the Galactic Empire active during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, it was assigned to the defense of the Death Star II construction in the Endor system.[1]

Behind the scenes

The 3rd TIE Wing appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] The 3rd TIE Wing was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.[1]
