The 29th Fast Attack Squadron was a TIE/d "Defender" Multi-Role Starfighter squadron in the Imperial Navy that was active during the Galactic Civil War. A contingent of the 29th was part of a mixed starfighter squadron along with TIE/IN interceptors from the 92nd Interceptor Squadron and was stationed aboard the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Mephitis while it conducted tests of the TIE/ph Phantom stealth starfighter near Polis Massa.[1]
