239 was one of over 50 stasis probes that were launched by the New Republic's Alpha Blue intelligence agency to observe the N'zoth system during the Black Fleet Crisis. 239 was one of only three probes to survive the mission and warned New Republic forces of the incoming Yevethan Black Fleet.^[1]
