Yea, a pretty cool panel overall. Also love that they include Stellan Gios and Avar Kriss at the middle back between Luke and Anakin.
^Do you mean Tano? If so, it's Kanan.
^^^^This is from the most recent issue of the TROS comic adaptation.
^I'm not sure I have a direct answer as I don't edit too much on Legends articles. But the tables themselves aren't something that is required, so it could just be the case where editors have not find the time to make 'em, as tables like that could take time to set up.
I'll try my best to answer, but it seems that it was removed due to the table being way too long to be convenient. However, if you would like to view the table still, you can do so below.
For the Clone Wars wiki, we have no association whatsoever to them, so their decision has no bearing to us on Wook and vice versa! Hope that answers your questions!
The discussion is now locked since it already strayed away from the initial topic. Do wanna put a strong reminder against sending threats on here. We take that very seriously. Cheers!
Not exactly the same, but there is an existing lightsaber that uses a similar concept. It belongs to Stellan Gios and you can see how both ends of the small emitted lightsaber on the hilt are covered.
I still don't get how people see Thrawn as incompetent. Sure he lost some of the battles (which I assume is where most of the criticism came from?), but Thrawn ultimately won by leaving Peridea and also leaving both Ahsoka and Sabine behind. Not saying the writing is perfect (far from it imo), but Thrawn was definitely not incompetent.
I was gonna vote for Kelnacca, but changed it to Tarfful since we did get a one-shot for the former. While not the main focus, we're also getting more of Kelnacca in Star Wars: The High Republic – Fear of the Jedi if you're interested.
^The book is very politics heavy, centering around Mon, Saw, and Bail. Takes place a few weeks after ROTS. If you're waiting on Andor season 2, it's the perfect book to read in the meantime imo. It's also the start of the Reign of the Empire series with two more books coming out in the future.
If you like Andor, I highly recommend the new novel that recently came out Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear. Still in the middle of reading it myself, but it has been a treat.
@CollidedColonies you gotta keep in mind that FACPOV has always been in a weird canon gray area, so those stories can be retconned pretty simply if needed in the future. It's more of the writers having fun than not knowing lore since the book is all about giving the spotlight to background characters. If it's strictly canon, they definitely would've done it differently.
I would expect some kind of nod or reference to the Ghost crew due to their integral role in helping Mon Mothma announcing the official formation of the Alliance. Maybe even a direct connection without showing them physically.
^Maybe not an entire novel, but a miniseries or one-shot could definitely work. We know that it was part of a job that Tobias did for the Crimson Dawn, so Im sure a writer can work something in for a short story.
Would love to finally see a detailed story of how Tobias killed Aurra Sing.
To my knowledge, outside of red, lightsaber colors don't have any real meaning or impact on the wielder in canon. For most Jedi, they get their crystals from the Gathering on Ilum, but no story so far really elaborate on the reasoning of the colors. As for Ventress, per Sarith above, she simply got it from a black market.
Even in KOTOR (which is Legends), I've personally seen the color explanation as more of a gameplay info bits than an actual in-universe meaning.
Beautifully written! Will miss the Star Hopper crew as we are nearing the end of the initiative.
My first THR book was Light of the Jedi, but I mainly catch up through the comic series (Marvel and Dark Horse). I'm a slow reader, so that is how I compromise. Geode is great, there is nothing to dislike about that guy! Don't often see THR threads being posted on here, so I like the excitement!
As for Young Jedi Adventures, yes, it is canon! It connects over to the larger timeline through characters like Yoda, Bell, Loden, and Ember. Don't wanna spoil too much of the show if you're interested, but you'll see more connections being made in the show.
If you are interested, we (Wookieepedia) have our own Discord server where I'm sure you'll meet more THR enthusiasts as we are nearing the end of the initiative!
From what we know, Embo should already retire on Felucia by that point, so I really hope it's not him. Not sure about the rest of the pick though.
Probably Sol overall, but Jecki is a close second for that incredible makeup and costuming design.
Story wise, the former is much better, but I'm just glad that we can move on from Larroca's traced illustration. It's a good story ruined by poorly traced spectacles. Vader 2020 felt lacking and repetitive, though it did give use the handmaidens' return and the Amidalans, which was neat.
